Children of our World
With all of the horribleness of today's world especially in the middle east, I decided that something had to make me feel better and at the same time, help the children of our world. UNICEF has a program for just this effort that helps the children and me.
I have signed up for a monthly donation for the Children, and hopefully, this small amount will help a child in need. I can't imagine the lives of these small children and how different my girls lives were growing up in a safe home with food and the comforts of a California life style. My middle daughter told me a day ago, that the bombs that could have landed in Cuba were a concern, but that earthquakes were more frightening to think about.
So, dear readers this is one way to help our world. One child at a time, and hopefully the family as well. Even though I'm on a very limited income as a senior, I feel that it is the right thing to do.
